Since it's
been an entire year and a half only been 18 months (
do I see a pattern here ?) (see post titled:
Time flies when you're chasing a toddler. ) since I've posted here, I thought I'd come over and let you know that a.) I do still exist and b.) so does my son and c.) I will shortly be a certified professional procrastinator. and d.) why do so many people stop at "c" ? Come to my graduation from "she's smarter than a first grader", would you?
We have been graced with 18 months of memory-making-extravaganzas and there are pictures strewn digitally hither and dither. (see section c. above) I'd like to say that I've organized all photos categorically and by date, but it just wouldn't be accurate. Or, true at all.
So, the real reason I'm here is because I've been inspired to blog more often, here and over at the farm and with regularity (see section c. above, if you so desire). It's in essence akin to making lists and then starting new lists because you can't find the original list. You want to find an accomplice when you attempt these audacious ambitions. Your kid is a good scapegoat. It's all about him, you know. So, that's why I haven't been here, I've been HERE. Present. Accounted for. And, since he's now five years old he makes announcements like "Mom, when I spin around and around, I get busy". I'll have to try that sometime.

Trip to California for Auntie Jenn's wedding.
And to bring in the year, on the last day of November 2009 Spencer and April came from California to live with us here in NC. It was a great year.
Now, to catch up with 2010.
